This is a ripe moment for any person to make a written submission to the Australian government about changes to the minimum efficiency standards for household appliances which use energy and water.
Submissions are due by 28 March 2018.
The government's discussion paper and advice about making a submission are here.
I've previously blogged about how cumbersome and unhelpful the government's website has become for comparing the efficiency of fridges, washing machines, etc, here.
So, go to, get your submission in. This matters to us all, keeping down the use of Earth's precious energy and water, as well as achieving low bills.
You're very welcome, of course, to comment here on my blog, too, and if you'ld like to send me a guest blog I'd welcome that as well.
