This weekend, Sat 1 October, Street Coolers will share the fun and show some cool road design in Chippendale as part of the Sydney Architecture Festival.
Engineers from Sydney Council will explain the trial cool road project in Myrtle St followed by a tour of my house where the off-grid battery, water and recycled water systems can be seen.
You’re very welcome to join a tour of the trial cool road and the house which is part of the Festival ($5 only).

Black roads and no trees heat our cities up by 2 to 8 degrees or more, cause premature death of babies and older people. The New York Times reckons it's a challenge we have to solve if we're to adapt to hotter cities.
On 1 July 2016 Street Coolers, which is a research and development company I set up with the goal of cooling Australian cities by 2 degrees by 2020, Street Coolers, was registered as a charity and a body to which donations are tax deductible.
