On Monday, Michael took the train from Sydney to Canberra, the capital of Australia, to meet Gregory Andrews.
An inspiring climate advocate, Gregory is on a hunger strike outside of the parliament house until PM Albanese takes real action to stop climate pollution.
Michael Mobbs had the experience of seeing how people in the capital reacted to Gregory Andrew’s hunger strike and brought him a fresh glass of rainwater from his rain tank at the Sustainable House Sydney.
Together, they made a post about meeting and sharing the rainwater.
Anyone may sign Gregory’s petition calling on the Albanese government to take four actions to stop Australia’s contributions to climate collapse, here.
UPDATE Wednesday 15 November:
This morning Gregory blogged that:
“Overnight, I got a message that the Office of the Secretary General of the United Nations is aware of my #ClimateHungerStrike and "watching closely". That's really big news. The leader of the United Nations, and the man who has said Australia must do more, know's what's happening and that Australians are behind me in saying our Prime Minister must do more!“
